Randolph Bobbitt is the oldest male in this census record and his wife Nancy Mays Bobbitt is the oldest female. Randolph was born in 1769 and his wife was born about the same time. One male, James Bobbitt born in 1793 is not at home at the time this census was taken.

Nancy Mays Bobbitt died in 1812 and Randolph Bobbitt married for his second wife a Polly Keene of Campbell County. The marriage was performed on December 14, 1814 and was recorded in the county records. Randolph and Polly Bobbitt had two sons. Sometime in November and before December 1, 1819, Randolph Bobbitt died. The family as near as we can reconstruct the children was:

The 1820 census of Campbell County shows that Mary (Polly) Bobbitt was living with two of her children and three of the children of Randolph and Nancy Mays Bobbitt.

On January 19, 1821 Polly Bobbitt married Phillip Roberts and moved to Boone County, Kentucky where Phillip had a home. Virgil Bobbitt married a Martha ...... in Boone County. They had one son named Virgil Bobbitt. Virgil Senior died and Martha married a Fountain Young and lived in Kenton County, Kentucky.
